Kings Crossfit

CrossFit is growing in popularity worldwide as a form of exercise that is available to all fitness levels and abilities. 


CrossFit encourages a healthy lifestyle through exercise incorporating a variety of functional movements performed at high intensity and includes aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more.

King’s College is proud to be the first and only New Zealand registered CrossFit affiliate school and able to offer this to our students under the guidance of qualified CrossFit coach Mr Rifle, and other experienced CrossFit trainers.

In 2019 our first intake of CrossFit students competed in an online CrossFit competition and we will look to do this again in 2020 for those students that wish to participate. This competition lasted five weeks, and each team of two had five days to complete each workout and submit their score online.

Friday mornings 6.30am-7.30am in the High Performance Unit, Friends’ Gym.
