With this sort of talent at our disposal, as you would expect, our Skiers did exceptionally well at the recent Auckland Championships held at Snow Planet.
In the Junior Boys' Slalom category, King’s students finished in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places in a field of 60 racers.
In the Senior Boys' category, which is an overall combined competition of all of the skiers taking part, King’s had 7 racers in the top 12 of a field of over 100 competitors.
In the Senior Girls, King’s finished with 3 skiers in the top 12.
These were remarkable results and bode well for the NISS Championships to be held in September.
