Last week Year 12 Physical Education and Outdoor Education students headed south to for their Alpine Risk Management Camp to meet the needs of their current achievement standard.

Outdoor Ed Snow Trip

Students participated in a variety of activities including caving, white water rafting, rock climbing, skiing and snowboarding.

Prior to attending camp, students learned about a range of risk management strategies. The aim of this trip was to implement these strategies before, during and after camp.

Despite the weather, students were able to participate and challenge themselves in all learning activities and see their strategies come to life.

Students thoroughly enjoyed their time away and being able to see theoretical aspects of the course in action, especially those who had never been to the snow before.
