Asked how it felt to win his medals, Year 9 swimmer Chris Jiang said, “I felt alright, I wish I could have done better because I lost one race by 0.002 seconds, but I PB’ed everything which was good.”

Head of Aquatics Jim Floerchinger said that our team of eight all swam well, and that he was proud to be present and support some epic swims.

Jerry Mei (Year 12, Averill) and Samuel Don (Year 11, Major) also logged personal bests at the meet.

As a team, King's College placed eighth out of 69 co-ed schools.

Most of these swimmers will now go on to compete in the New Zealand Short Course Championships, which start on 1 October.
