An impressive $774.50 was raised and the funds were used to purchase all the items on the wish list that was provided. These items included: two balance bikes, an adjustable basketball hoop stand, football goals, netballs, jump balls, tennis balls to name a few.

The bake sale was coordinated by Lou Shirley and her committee: Rubie Duder, Mikaela Hawley and Juliette Mines. The baked goodies were created by MBH girls and family members and there were some stunning creations.

The teacher of the new entrants’ class Mrs Deb Shirley, who is an MBH parent, and the Principal of Point England Primary School invited Mrs Adams as Housemaster, Lou Shirley and her committee to attend a full school Assembly and receive thanks from Point England Primary school.

It was a privilege to be able support this community and see the joy that the toys have generated with the entrants’ class.
