King's College supporters enjoyed a bumper day of premier sport last Saturday, as our hockey, football and rugby teams faced off against traditional rivals Auckland Grammar School.
It was a mixed bag of results, with a win and two losses.
First XI Hockey: 2 - 1 to Auckland Grammar School
First XI Football: 1 - 4 to King's College
First XV Rugby: 19 - 15 to Auckland Grammar School
Special mention goes to the First XI Football team whose win earned them the Morris-Kelly Cup for only the second time ever, and the first time since 2005.
As Head of Sport Mr Potts says, "The hockey and rugby teams both fought valiantly but were denied by Grammar teams who just wouldn't lay down."
