King's College held its annual Strokeplay Championship at Royal Auckland and The Grange on Wednesday 30 January under clear, blue skies and very warm conditions. A quality field of single figure handicaps contested the championship and the competition was very tight right through the 18 holes of medal golf.

The senior champion for 2019 with a fine round of 71 was Hugh Lee (Year 11, Averill) and the junior champion for 2019 with an equally good round of 74 was Derek Peng (Year 9, Greenbank).
The golf team looks very strong this year and we look forward to the Premier Golf competition starting soon and the Auckland Inter-College day in May.
