The course prepares school leavers who wish to pursue a career in adventure tourism or hospitality, with the skills, knowledge and confidence to successfully pursue a management career.
When describing his time on the three-day course, Jerry noted that it was “one of the best experiences” he has had:
“I got to meet with people from across New Zealand as well as from overseas. During the week, I gained an overview of what it is like to work and study Hospitality and Tourism Management which really helped me decide whether it is what I really want to study at tertiary level or not.”
Jerry plans to continue his pursuits in hospitality management in Switzerland where he will attend one of the various esteemed hospitality management colleges for his tertiary qualifications. We wish him all the best in his endeavours overseas!
