Grateful to gather, the 2,500-strong audience packed into Spark Arena to be delighted by each House’s performance and MCs Reverends Gareth Walters and Onosai Auva’a.
Judges Kirsten Scouller, Steven Rapana and Nick Forbes scored each House according to their Style, Togetherness, Accuracy and Commitment, with Taylor taking out the top spot with their rendition of Bright Lights, Bigger City by CeeLo Green.
“Great energy, commitment and ensemble work,” said one of the judge’s comments.
Hot on Taylor’s heels was Marsden House’s Hot N Cold, followed by Averill’s Drive It Like you Stole It.
With their Small House and Big House points tallied, Marsden won the 2022 overall House Music trophy.
