Adding to this success, just over the weekend on 26 – 27 January, Daniel also placed first in the Auckland District Archery Target Championship competition for the Intermediate Boys Recurve.
“It looks as if we have another rising young archery star following in the footsteps of Finn Matheson,” says teacher-in-charge of Archery, Barbara Law. “The King’s Archery A Team this year is looking pretty strong!”
Daniel's coach for the past few months has been Grant Hewson, which Daniel credits to his top performance.
