A special Chapel Service will be held to commemorate their journey to this point, and a final walk down the memorial drive will occur.

Dress code: Smart casual for parents, Summer number 1's for students
We are unable to accommodate all students and families in the Memorial Chapel at the same time for the traditional Leavers’ Chapel Service, therefore, we plan to have two Services which will be divided by Houses. The timing of these two Services have been outlined below.
Schedule of events:
8:40 – 9:00am: Boys’ Day House Students (Averill, Greenbank, Major, Marsden, Parnell and Peart) and their parents/guardians arrive at the College, park in the Clubhouse Car Park and make their way to the Memorial Chapel.
9:00am: King’s College Memorial Chapel Service for Boys’ Day Student Houses and their parents/guardians
10:10am: At the conclusion of the Chapel Service for Boys’ Day Student Houses, students make their way to the running track and their parents/guardians make their way to the Main Drive outside Reception and the Memorial Chapel.
10:10 – 10:30am: Girls and Boarding House Students (Marion Bruce, Middlemore, School, Selwyn, St John’s and Taylor) and their parents/guardians arrive at the College park in the Student Car Park. Students make their way to the running track and their parents/guardians make their way to the Main Drive outside Reception and the Memorial Chapel.
10:30 – 10:45am: Leavers walk down the Main Drive from the running track to the Memorial Building. The drive will be lined on either side by Year 9-10 students, College staff, and the parents/guardians of the Leavers.
10:45am: Morning tea outside the Memorial Chapel for all Leavers and their parents/guardians.
11.30am: King’s College Memorial Chapel Service for Girls and Boarding Houses and their parents/guardians.
11:30am: Boys’ Day House Students and their parents/guardians are free to leave.
12:30pm: Girls and Boarding House Students and their parents/guardians are free to leave.
It’s an expectation that Leavers attend this very special service, as it represents a key milestone for our Year 13 Leavers and their families. If your child is unable to attend, please seek approval from their Housemaster ahead of the Leavers Chapel Services.
