Prizegiving is a special occasion which recognises and celebrates the academic, sporting and cultural achievements of our students. Although, it is in a different format than we traditionally have held, we have created an experience for parents, guardians, students, and staff to enjoy.
Our Prizegiving video this year compiles all the important and traditional aspects of the event including a guest speech from an Old Collegian, blessings from Reverend Gareth Walters, a mihi from Māori Studies teacher Mr Leo Tahitahi, an update from our Chair of the Board of Governors Hon Mr Simon Power, musical items performed by our students, and of course, the school song O’Floreat Semper.
We have kept true to our King’s College traditions and ensured each student is given their moment to be acknowledged for their hard work throughout a challenging year, and each one of you should be proud.
