King's in the Choral Academy

The above King's students (pictured with Choir Leader Steven Rapana) have been participating in the NZ Youth Choir Choral Academy during the school holidays.

Well done to Kahnyell Talamaivao (Year 12, Peart), Krishna Peddinti (Year 11, Major), Joshua Bamfield (Year 12, Major) and Helen Cai (Year 12, Taylor)! We're proud to have King's College so well represented.

Behind the scenes for KBB

Due to COVID-19 disruption, the KBB 2020 Band & Orchestra Showcase (an online event) took the place of the annual KBB Music Festival.

School groups participating in the online event created a 'behind the scenes' video, and we're delighted to announce that the King's College Symphony Orchestra won this category.

The group has decided to donate their prize of a KBB gift card to a local school so that they are able to buy music gear.
