King's in the Choral Academy

Behind the scenes for KBB
Due to COVID-19 disruption, the KBB 2020 Band & Orchestra Showcase (an online event) took the place of the annual KBB Music Festival.
School groups participating in the online event created a 'behind the scenes' video, and we're delighted to announce that the King's College Symphony Orchestra won this category.
The group has decided to donate their prize of a KBB gift card to a local school so that they are able to buy music gear.

Mr Artley wins with Matariki
Congratulations to Teacher of Music Mr Chris Artley who has won the open category of the Compose Aotearoa 2020 National Choral Composition Competition with a piece titled Matariki.
The New Zealand Youth Choir rehearsed the piece over the weekend.
