The Premier Netball Team travelled to Australia over the school holidays to play games against local schools, as well as recieving world-class coaching sessions.

The Premier Netball girls and invitational players had fantastic trip to Sydney over the school holidays. They were busy with games against Abbotsleigh Girls’ School, Pymble Ladies College and Wenona School, getting to know those teams and hopefully making connections for the future.

A coaching session with Australian and NSW Swift player Sarah Klau and one with Sydney Giants players Gina Crampton, Jamie Hume and Charli Fidler were also highlights. These sessions provided great opportunities for the group to learn from professional players and they will hopefully take the skills they have mastered into their games this season.

The students also went to watch a Swifts private training session where the team coach even invited them down to the court to have some pictures with the team, and to spend some time chatting to them. This was a great experience for the girls as they were able to see what is expected at a professional level. They were also able to take away tips and ideas which they can implement into their trainings and games.

Other highlights of their trip included: adventures to Manly, a Giants Netball game, lots of shopping, and loads of laughs!
