We have eleven houses in total. This includes four boys’ boarding Houses: School, St John’s, Parnell and Selwyn, along with five boys' day Houses: Major, Peart, Greenbank, Averill and Marsden.

Our girls’ boarding House for Years 11-13 is Middlemore House and our girls’ day House is Taylor House.

In 2016, we also launched Te Pūtake Lodge, our home for our Year 9 Boarders.

New Girls’ Day House

In January 2020, in the year that we celebrate the 40th anniversary of girls at King’s College, we will open a second girls’ Day House.

The yet-to-be named House will be based next to the existing girls’ Day House, and girls currently in Taylor House will also have the option to move to the new House.

We are pleased to announce that Gina Adams, now former Housemaster of Taylor House will lead the new girls' Day House. Robyn Wright will take up the role of Housemaster of Taylor House.

It’s certainly an exciting time to be joining King’s College. If you would like to find out more please contact Mr Graeme Syms Head of Admissions to book your own private tour.
