Antigone (an-tig-uh-nee)

The family or the State. How far would you go to defend what you believe is right?

Antigone (Rebekah Massey), mourning the death of her two brothers in the aftermath of Thebes’ Civil War, is challenged by newly crowned King Creon (Waka Wikaire-James). Creon decrees that her brother, Polyneices, who challenged him to the throne, shall not be buried. Antigone’s sister Ismene (Georgie Gore), tries to convince Antigone to let it go and listen to the men in charge.

Will she listen?

Whose laws will she break: those of the State or the Gods?

This political thriller has been updated in a contemporary setting and is full of bold characters, brilliant writing, and plenty of blood.
