Twelfth Night, or What You Will is a comedy by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written around 1601-1602 as a Twelfth Night's entertainment for the close of the Christmas season.

The play involves twins Sebastian and Viola who are separated in a shipwreck and forced to fend for themselves in a strange land. Viola disguises herself as Cesario, a male servant for the Duke of Illyria. While wooing a countess on the behalf of the Duke, she suddenly finds herself the object of the countess's affections. With the arrival of Viola's brother, and a trick played upon the countess's steward, chaos ensues in this romantic comedy of mistaken identity.
