King’s College is working with Kiwi Coaches in gathering expressions of interest for additional school bus services, with potential new routes starting in 2027.
Kiwi Coaches already operates the Point Chevalier/Ponsonby service to King’s. It is now investigating demand from families in:
- North Shore
- Henderson, Massey and West Auckland
- Central Auckland (Possible Titirangi)
- Howick, Botany, Flat Bush and southeast Auckland
- South Auckland
These areas are starting points. Families from other suburbs are encouraged to register too, as proposed routes and pickup points will be developed around demand.
Two-week trial in 2026
If sufficient interest is received in one or more areas, Kiwi Coaches plans to run a two-week trial before the end of 2026, with the aim of commencing regular services in 2027.
Interested families will receive proposed pickup locations, timetables, pricing and trial arrangements before being asked to commit.
What would the services offer?
The proposed services would provide dedicated, student-only transport to and from King’s College, with:
- Live online bus tracking accessible to parents and the school.
- Student tag-on and tag-off records to help monitor boarding, departures and attendance on the bus.
- School-focused routes and safe, practical pickup points.
- Direct communication with Kiwi Coaches about service updates.
- A termly safety and compliance overview provided to the school, including vehicle Certificate of Fitness (CoF) status and relevant safety matters.
Register your family’s interest
If you may use a service — whether for morning, afternoon or return travel — please let Kiwi Coaches know where you live and what your family needs.

Registration is open to current families and those with students joining King’s College in 2027. There is no payment or commitment required, and the new routes remain subject to sufficient demand.
