What does this mean for your family?
For most families, there is nothing you need to do now and no need to replace the uniform you already own.
The new Schoolblazer range includes some updates to individual garments, including changes to materials, construction and styling. The most visible are small changes to the College Blazer, which will see buttons change from gold to black, and the lining changes from black to maroon jacquard with the school crest alongside a move to performance cotton for shirts and blouses, and a change to the girls' skirt.
The existing uniform can continue to be worn until it is outgrown or needs replacing. You do not need to replace a current garment simply because the new version is different.
Following feedback from both parents and students, existing students may continue to wear the Boys’ beige shorts and girls’ beige skirt and summer blouse. There is no longer a requirement for these students to transition to the grey shorts and skirts in Term 1 2027.
What does this mean for new families in 2027?
All new families to King’s in 2027 will have the option of purchasing the new Schoolblazer range or our existing uniform stock at cost price. A fitting can be booked through the Uniform Shop and details for bookings will be emailed to all new families before term 4.
