Hauora Hinengaro
What if a simple t-shirt or squish toy could help save a life? Hauora Hinengaro is a student-led business created by six King's students who have one goal: making mental health conversations normal for young people. Our sustainable t-shirts feature meaningful designs and messages that encourage people to “talk about it”.
Our squish toys help reduce stress and anxiety in a simple way. Every purchase supports mental health initiatives through donations to the Sir John Kirwan Foundation. We are not just selling products, we’re building a movement focused on awareness, support and conversation. Visit our website here.
Rise After Disaster
As a group of five young entrepreneurs we have created a business called Rise After Disaster. We are selling hoodies to raise awareness around natural disasters. We want to support recovery projects and education around disasters as it is a big problem around New Zealand and all over the world.
Our idea was driven from the Mt Maunganui landslides which affected many people's lives. With every sale a percentage of the money will go towards the Salvation Army. We are selling our unique stylish hoodies for $60 and you can find us on Instagram here.
STANDUP
STANDUP is a business that sells uniquely designed t-shirts to a demographic of females who believe strongly in standing up against domestic violence for women and children. Our t-shirts have been designed to have trendy colours and a unique logo to represent standing up with a fashionable purpose, creating clothing that allows people to express their values with confidence.

Over 100,000 kiwis suffer from eating disorders. E.A.T. is planning to raise awareness for eating disorders. E.A.T.’s sustainability is around donating 15% of our profits towards the organization EDANZ. Tumanako
We are four young students promoting our t-shirts from our company Tumanako. Tumanako is a student-led business that is focused on spreading hope and encouraging conversations around mental health through clothing. Our message is to create a community that values each other's mental health and ultimately their well being.
Our business name Tumanako means hope in Māori. Our t-shirts so far consist of a first design being a dove with the words Tumanako above it which displays on the back, then the word Tumanako placed on the front right side - see design below.

Mana Grip is a student-led business focused on creating high-quality grip socks for athletes aged 13–18. Designed to improve comfort, stability, and performance, the socks help young sports players perform confidently during training and competition. Mana Grip aims to combine functionality with style, creating products that appeal to the next generation of athletes.
As a youth-driven business, the brand also promotes leadership, teamwork and entrepreneurship among students involved in the company. By understanding the needs of young players, Mana Grip strives to build a strong community and provide reliable sportswear that supports athletes both on and off the field.
