Our weekend boarding has continued to deliver for those students who call the College home on the weekends. Our weekend boarding programme is varied and benefits from the efforts and expertise of our talented and committed boarding staff. The programme includes both individual Boarding House activities as well as larger combined activities which see all the students from different Houses get together.
On any given weekend, we typically have over 50 students remaining in boarding, making our weekend programme one of the largest ones in New Zealand. For example, in Term 1 alone, our weekend Boarders have taken part in the following activities:
Combined Boarding Activities
· Weta Workshop Lord of the Rings experience.
· Super Rugby match at Eden Park, Blues vs Crusaders
· Auckland FC vs Wellington Phoenix Darby football game
· Movie nights
· Indoor rock climbing (Xtream Edge)
· Parakai Hot-pools and hydro-slides
· Orewa Beach visit
· Lantern festival (College & South Auckland events)
· Night market visits
· Student leaders to NZBSA national conference
· Sunday morning brunches
· Glee production (upcoming)
· ASB Polyfest -to watch the Kapa Haka and Tongan group – (upcoming)

· Star-dome – VR experience to Mars
· NZ National Rugby Museum VR experience
