The Great Hall came alive on Friday afternoon as our talented students performed in our annual Small House Music competition, bringing to life modern tunes as well as more retro classics. Once again Marsden House was victorious, winning the Small House Music title for the second year in a row!
Our returning judges: Kirsten Scouller - Director of Music, King's School - Singer Ella Monnery and Producer and Rapper King's were full of praise for all of the Houses performances, you can read some of their comments about the top three bands below:
1st - Marsden
Band was so slick, definitely the strongest band of the day. Energy was great from everyone on stage, great team effort. Wow. What a cool show.
2nd - Averill
Stunning performance. Incredible band. Slick entry with synth. Vocal harmonies and are off the scale. The three vocalists worked great together, energy and stage presence was good.
3rd - Greenbank
Loved the opening! Super creative and strong way to start. Band sounded well rehearsed and in sync. An outstanding performance.
