The NZ Arts House Trust on Campus

Thursday 14 August 2025

A new collaboration between King’s College and the NZ Arts House Trust has brought works from the Trust’s extensive national art collection to the College. Initiated by Headmaster Simon Lamb, the partnership will feature paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculptures, and moving image works displayed across the campus.

We currently have a variety of sculptural pieces installed around the Great Hall, the Library Quad, Toi Manawa, and the Chapel and Abbott buildings.

We will soon see artworks installed inside Toi Manawa, followed by additional artworks in other buildings and outdoor spaces across the campus.

This is an exciting connection, and the Trust is also offering our art students opportunities for future visits and entering competitions to win big prizes, as well as being of great value to our department and school. Please see the latest competition on the other page. Please feel free to enter any artworks. Good luck.
