King’s swimmers took to the pool for 4 days for the NZSS Swimming Championships. It was a packed schedule with 810 swimmers competing from around the country. The King’s swim team was made up of:
Jack Christie (Year 9, Peart), Rocco Walkinton (Year 10, Averill), Desmond Huang (Year 10, Marsden), Austin Aves (Year 11, Greenbank), Dhylan Oyston (Year 11, Parnell), Finn Aloua (Year 11, Major), Henry Wang (Year 11, Greenbank), Jasper Xie (Year 11, Greenbank), Paikea Maihi (Year 11, Taylor), Danny Sun (Year 12, Parnell) and Sebastian Segers (Year 12, Parnell)
The team was able to celebrate a number of successes with plenty of personal best times set amongst the team along with nine podiums and an accumulation of 284 points, placing King’s 21st overall out of 126 schools.

- Gold - 200m Back
