What an amazing night it was at the King’s College Annual Media Showcase! The evening was a wonderful celebration of creativity, talent and the incredible hard work of our Media Studies students throughout the year.
The red carpet was rolled out, the cameras were flashing and our student filmmakers had the opportunity to celebrate their achievements with their friends and families along with the wider King’s College community. There were plenty of photo opportunities as our student celebrities arrived in style, creating the perfect atmosphere for an evening dedicated to celebrating the magic of filmmaking.
It was incredibly special to see so many people come together to watch the work our students had produced across their Media Studies courses. A special shout-out goes to our fantastic MCs, Tyler-Rex Samasoni-Tukuitonga (Year 13, Averill) and Lilly Twort (Year 13, Marion Bruce), who kept the evening running smoothly and the audience entertained throughout the night. Their confidence, energy and professionalism helped make the showcase such a success.
Most importantly, we are incredibly proud of all of our Media Studies students. The commitment, creativity, persistence and hard work that goes into bringing these productions to life is significant, and it was wonderful to see their efforts celebrated on the big screen.
