This year the King’s College Tertiary Options Evening & Centennial Centre Expo will take place on the evening of Monday 12 May in the Centennial Centre Building, the Graham Bruce Building, Archdall Wing and Lecture Theatre.

Designed to enhance senior student and parental knowledge of tertiary study in Aotearoa and future career opportunities, in 2025 the event format will feature:

  • An expo style set-up in the Learning Centre space and adjacent classrooms for providers to engage students and parents or guardians;
  • Three concurrent presentation sessions grouped to reflect the themes of flagship degree programmes, service training featuring NZ Defence Forces, NZ Police, Trades & Apprenticeships, and other NZ service providers such as Gap Year organisations;
  • Expresso-to-Go Coffee Cart and the Nom Nom food truck will set up in the Small Quad for a great bite to eat and a well-made coffee.
  • Parents and guardians of senior students will receive a formal invitation to this event by email in the first week of Term 2 including the programme for the evening.

An Evening with Australian and Selected Overseas Universities 2025

This will be a collaborative event with Kristin School and other independent schools and will be hosted by King’s College on Thursday 12 June, 5.30 - 8.30pm.

This event is a response to the growing interest in Australian Universities. It will follow a similar format to the King’s College Tertiary Options Evening including an Expo for face to face discussions with university staff, and three concurrent presentation sessions.
