Big House Music was an incredible night, with our talented and committed students taking to the stage at Spark Arena. Marion Bruce were deserved winners with an exceptional performance of their song Sunny by Boney M. - which included incredible choreography and costumes. With a packed-out audience offering vociferous support, Big House lived up to its reputation as a flagship school event. It was especially great to see all the Houses supporting each other as each group took the stage. My thanks to the students for their hours of rehearsal, and to the Performing Arts and Events Teams for the planning and delivery of such a spectacular occasion.
At King’s, we are incredibly fortunate to have such an engaged and supportive parent community. The strong relationships between our families and staff members are something we genuinely treasure. To maintain this positive culture, it's important for us to gently address any moments that do not quite align with our shared values, even if they are one-off incidents.
We kindly ask that all interactions with our team, whether in person, by phone, or via email, remain respectful and considerate. Our staff members work tirelessly for every student in this school, and they deserve to feel valued and supported. We know the vast majority of our community shares this view, and we thank you for helping us maintain the warm, collaborative atmosphere that makes King’s College so special.
