Unfortunately due to the Auckland rain, play was abandoned without a ball being bowled on the last Saturday of the cricket season. It was a disappointing way to finish the season for the First XI - especially as the game scheduled was against Auckland Grammar! However, an epic game of touch in the rain served as a fitting substitute before both teams shook hands and the 2025 season officially came to a close.
While the season certainly had its lows, it was defined by many more highs, and 2025 will be remembered as a successful campaign overall. Despite not qualifying for the Gillette Cup (Nationals) this year - which is always our aim - there have been several notable performances, both individually and collectively, of which the players should be very proud. Each member of the team has grown in character, developed their skills, and overcome challenges.
Most importantly, they’ve had a lot fun with their mates along the way, which is arguably the most valuable aspect of school sport at any level.

- Unbeaten at the Trans-Tasman Quadrangular Festival held at Christ’s College
- Trans-Tasman T20 Tournament Champions
- 3rd place in the Premier Boys 50-Over Competition
- 3rd place in the Auckland Schools T20 Competition
