Our 2026 Dance Showcase hit the stage on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 August, and what a show it was!
Held across two evenings in the beautiful Toi Manawa Flanagan Theatre, the showcase included pieces from varied styles, cultures and eras, ranging from bold street dance moves to delicate contemporary performances to a super fun Bhangra number! The display featured choreography from our very own NCEA dance students, alongside pieces curated by Dance Teacher Trudy Dobbie, as well as routines from the College’s co-curricular competitive and recreational troupes.
It was an annual highlight for all dancers involved, getting to showcase their work across this year and share the stage with some of their best friends - a truly magical experience for performers and audience members alike!
A huge thank you to the Art Department and to our lighting and technology team for their contributions to making the showcase such a success.
