Cricket Team Quad Tournament Group January 2026

Cricket Trans-Tasman Festival

Tuesday 27 January 2026

The First XI Cricket team arrived back in Auckland last week after a successful trip to Sydney, playing in the Trans-Tasman Festival.

The team successfully completed three matches, with only one day’s play lost to rain. For the second consecutive year, our First XI remained unbeaten, winning all three fixtures and producing some highly encouraging performances. The boys performed strongly as a collective unit and there were also some standout individual performances with both the bat and ball during their matches.

Overall, the tour proved to be a highly rewarding experience for our 15 travelling students. They enjoyed exploring Sydney and formed lasting friendships during their time away, all while representing the College with pride and enthusiasm.

While they were away two of our First XI players Aekkam Sarao (Year 13, Parnell) and Hugo Bricklebank (Year 12, Averill) (pictured), helped the Auckland U17 Cricket team to win the National Provincial Tournament held in Lincoln.
