College Sport Auckland Rowing Champs - Overall Points Trophy

Wednesday 18 February 2026

The College Sport Auckland Rowing Champs were recently held at Lake Karapiro over Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 February.

King’s College secured the Overall CSA Auckland Schools Points Trophy, finishing a huge 26 points clear of the next school - a fantastic achievement. Contributions towards this award came from incredible performances in both Boys’ and Girls’ events across all age groups.

Our Senior Boys claimed two Premier titles winning the Under 18 8+ and the Under 18 4’s events in some exciting and close finishes. Despite wet and challenging conditions, our rowers handled things well and performed with consistency on the water.

These results follow a successful Head of Harbour Regatta last weekend where the highlight of a strong set of results was the winning of the the Under 18 8+ title for the first time since 2006 and in the 90th running of this traditional rowing fixture.

Furthermore, the way our students represented the College over a demanding weekend was excellent.
