Terms and Conditions
- Participants must be 18 years or older to purchase raffle tickets.
- Each raffle ticket costs $100.00 and each individual can purchase a maximum of 10 raffle tickets. There are only 1765 raffle tickets available, numbered from 1-1765.
- All proceeds from raffle ticket sales will directly contribute to improving and upgrading the classrooms at King's College (“the College”) in order to continue to provide the best all-round education it is possible to obtain and to future proof teaching and learning at the College.
- Prize: The prize consists of a tuition account credit for one current or new 2026 student at King’s College (“Student”). The credit amount will match 100% of the value of a Year 10 domestic day student’s annual tuition fees in 2026 (including tuition, EOTC and campus and building levy) regardless of the Student's year of enrolment. By way of reference the equivalent 2025 fees are valued at $36,198. The value of the 2026 fees will be determined in November 2025 and will be at least the same as the 2025 fees. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash. The prize will be credited to the tuition account of the Student for the 2026 year. If the full value of the prize is greater than Student’s 2026 tuition fees, the winner can use the remaining credit for other College-related costs (such as uniform and other incidentals) as agreed with the College. The winner may opt to donate the prize or any account balance back to the Association of the Friends of King's College Incorporated (“the Friends”), or to another 2026 student’s tuition account at the discretion of both the winner and the Friends, in conjunction with the King’s College Trust Board. The prize must be used in the 2026 calendar year.
- The prize draw will be held at the Friends Ladies Lunch at 14.00 hours on Friday 12th September 2025 at Bivacco, 115 Customs Street West, Central Auckland and livestreamed on the King’s College Instagram page.
- The prize draw will be determined online using Galabid’s PRNG (Pseudo Random Number Generator) which ensures the selection of a random winner, under the supervision of a Police Officer. Because of this the winner’s name may be displayed on screen and as part of the livestream requirement.
- The winner will be notified by phone and in writing via email, using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. Additionally, their name may be published in King’s College official channels on behalf of the Association of the Friends of King's College Incorporated.
- Last Day to Claim Prize: The winner must claim their prize within 90 days of notification.
- Organisers Cancellation Option: The Association of the Friends of King's College Incorporated reserves the right to cancel the raffle by 5th September 2025 for any reason. If this occurs, all raffle ticket purchasers will be notified via email, and a full refund of raffle ticket costs will be provided.
This raffle is run by the Association of the Friends of King's College Incorporated c/- King’s College , Golf Road, Otahuhu, Auckland.
Authorised purpose: To improve and upgrade the classrooms at King’s College in order to continue to provide the best all round education it is possible to obtain and to future proof teaching and learning at the College.
