On behalf of the Floreat Semper Fellowship, we are delighted to invite you to attend our annual Autumn Lunch at King's College on Wednesday 1 April 2026 including an address from our guest speaker Dr Richard Fisher CNZM.
Richard Fisher (School, 1960-64) A leader and pioneer in fertility medicine, Richard was involved in the earliest days of IVF in New Zealand and co-founded Fertility Associates in 1987. For more than three decades, Fertility Associates has been at the forefront of fertility diagnosis, support, and treatment. Richard was also part of the founding group of Ascot Hospital in Greenlane, serving as Chairman of Ascot (later Mercy Ascot) for 19 years. He continues to contribute to the healthcare sector as a Board member of Healthcare Holdings. In 2009, Richard was appointed a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit in recognition of his services to medicine.
This invitation, and the Floreat Semper Fellowship, is open to Old Collegians, King's College staff and family members aged 70 years or older. Please share with King's contemporaries who may wish to attend. Further information about Floreat Semper is available here.
