Jim Potts (former Director of Sport and now at St Patrick’s College in Queensland) and Mark Johnston (HOD Economics) have taken on a new challenge to row seven marathons in seven days.
The challenge begins this Saturday 28 November and runs to Friday 4 December, with rowers on their machines at the covered tennis courts from 6am to 10am each day.
Like the 100km challenge that they completed last year, staff and students will also participate during the seven days. The purpose of the challenge is to raise funds for Friedreich Ataxia (a slow, progressive disorder of the nervous system and muscles).
