The King's Institute
Via the King's Institute, King's College has become a lighthouse site for conferences, camps, conventions, training programmes and academies. Very few holiday periods pass without the College's Boarding Houses, Dining Rooms, grounds, Lecture Theatre, halls, classrooms and fitness facilities (including gyms and a heated swimming pool) becoming a private and secure home to a number of visiting external groups.
The King's Institute is responsible for the external promotion, organisation, use and management of facilities owned and operated by the College. Instead of just hiring out facilities, the Institute becomes an active partner in ensuring the planning, implementation and running of an event exceeds the organisers and participants highest expectations.
King's College has hosted "live in" events for groups as small as 20 through to as large as 1,200, from two days through to two weeks. With its own full-time chefs and kitchen staff, its catering record is a primary source of positive comment; be it simply for its outstanding buffet meals or its full on "silver service" special event dinners.
For people looking for a secure and extra special venue for a forthcoming event or conference, with unsurpassed support from a dedicated team to ensure cost-efficient and outstanding delivery of the occasion, an inspection of King's College as a venue option is mandatory. Subject to availability, the organisers will search for a suitable venue that can, in one dedicated site, meet all the residential, catering, relaxation and delivery needs and requirements for your forthcoming event.
Please note: To ensure the privacy and security of its students, King's College facilities are only available to external groups during school holiday periods.
