This first event, called Kickstart, is designed to be a call to students to get moving with their business projects.
As Andrew Walton, Accounting and Business Studies teacher describes it, “It’s a giant speed-dating exercise but for business people.”
With 49 Year 13 and Year 12 King’s students in attendance, the day proved a great chance for them to refine and develop their ideas, adding excitement and momentum to their projects they have begun this term.
“I really enjoyed the day spent at AUT. I couldn't stop telling everyone about it when I got back to school,” says Holly Hardy (Year 13, Middlemore).
