Senior students studying Level 3 business studies have recently formed a company called 'Easy Eats', as part of the Young Enterprise Scheme. Easy Eats first project is the creation a cookbook for university students called The Munchies.
The students have gained sponsorship for their new cookbook, which contains several recipes from celebrities including Beauden Barrett, and Old Collegian KJ Apa.
Year 13 student and co-founder of Easy Eats, Charlie Davison (Middlemore) says they’re excited about the development of the cookbook and the support they’ve received from public figures.
“The recipes in our cookbook are simple and affordable and aimed at those heading into university.”
The prototype of the cookbook has been printed and the students are incredibly proud of the product, hoping to pre-sell more than 100 copies to the King’s community and then expand to outside markets.
Easy Eats have an active social media presence on both Instagram and Facebook and aim to grow the business further.
You can check out Easy Eats’ Instagram account here and their Facebook account here. Keep your eye on their social channels for more information about when the book will go on sale.
