William Shen has been named a finalist in the 2015 Bright Sparks Awards. This is a highly regarded showcase for the creativity and discipline of school students.

Bright Sparks was established in 2000 to nurture the students who will be our future engineers, electricians and programmers.   The students develop a prototype using electronics, engineering and/or programming elements during the year. Each prototype is carefully scrutinised by a judging panel of industry experts.

William developed the programme he has entered, called Odin Business Manager, as part of his project for A2 Computing.

The Odin Business Manager is a complete business and accounting software package written by William for his father’s company. It incorporates all the features that make the product user-friendly, including interactive login and dialogue screens, email, travel software and a help desk.
