Oliver Maclean (Year 13, Selwyn) is training in Rotterdam in the Netherlands this week as he prepares for the much anticipated World Rowing Junior Championships from 21 to 28 August.

He has been selected to stroke the New Zealand Junior Quad Scull. There are 25 teams entered from all over the world, making it a hotly contested event.

The New Zealand Junior Quad Scull crew believe they have made great strides since coming together post Maadi Cup and can’t wait to start racing. The team are currently in Rotterdam finalising preparations and training for the regatta.
