Monday 4 September brought fine and sunny conditions for the annual College Inter-House Sailing Competition.

150917 Sailing House Comp

Winners of the day were School House with sailors Jordan Stevenson (Year 13) and James Houry-Trimble (Year 10). The duo put on a tough display to beat the other competing Houses and claim a narrow win against Greenbank’s team of Hamish McLaren (Year 10) and Rose Dickson (Year 11, Taylor).

Sailors for Selwyn, Annabel Cave (Year 13, Taylor) and Chester Duffett (Year 11) came away with third place.

Head of Learning Support David Ward, reports that "all the skippers had sailed for New Zealand in different classes so they were keen to win the trophy. There was not one stand out team as they all finished in different places for each of three races but School House put on a top notch display to win in the end."
