In conjunction with Literacy Week, which was held at the College in June, the King's College Library recently took several students on a tour of the TVNZ Newsroom.
Organised by reporter, Tim Wilson, who was our Writer-in-Residence for 2014, seven boys were given the opportunity to meet Seven Sharp presenters, Mike Hosking and Toni Street.
They were also treated to watching the live broadcast of One News at 6.00pm from the Director's Booth, catching a glimpse of all the behind-the-scenes action.
Library Manager, John Cummins accompanied the seven students, who were George Hailstone, Jonathan Kemp, Daniel Easton, William Eddowes, Thomas Gollin, Benjamin Hilterman and Harry Crawford.
