Selections for the delegation were made during New Zealand Model UN, a national conference for high school students. Out of 50 applicants who were shortlisted and interviewed, 22 were selected for the delegation.
In addition to attending the THIMUN conference, which will be attended by over 3,500 delegates from around the world, they will also be visiting New York, Geneva and a number of other locations in Europe.
