In January 2016, two of the most prestigious and competitive Model United Nations conferences in the world will set out with their Faculty Advisors on an intensive Ivy League academic study tour. This whirlwind tour will give the students the Ivy League experience, immersing them in the culture of each school and showcasing the world-class education programmes they offer.
Joshua Bansal and Amay Aggarwal were selected among both young New Zealand and Australian students to be a part of this esteemed Australasian delegation. At Harvard and Yale Model United Nations they will be debating a wide range of international issues as part of their two and a half week intensive international academic study tour.
The delegation has already begun its preparation. This includes receiving guidance on how to produce conference documents such as briefing papers, position papers and resolutions. With a delegation-wide Harvard focus, each student is also preparing for Ivy League admissions office visits, lectures and on-campus billeting with students who share the same study interests as them.
