Archery
Between Saturday, 3 and Friday, 9 January, the 72nd New Zealand Archery Nationals took place and were attended by archers from all over the world, including New Caledonia and Great Britain.

In the Under-20 Men's Recurve section, Jack Forsythe won Silver in both Field and Clout and a Bronze in Target, and Frasier Cho won a Bronze in Field.

In the Under-17 Men's Recurve, Max Wilson won Silver in the Field and Gold in the Clout.

These are high achievements considering this is one of the major Archery Tournaments in Oceania and the largest in New Zealand.

Baseball
Congratulations to Samuel Hayes who represented New Zealand in the Under-18 Oceania Baseball Championships. This tournament is the pinnacle of junior baseball in the Southern Hemisphere and it is a significant achievement for Samuel to represent New Zealand at this level.

Cricket
A large amount of cricket took place over the summer break with some great team and individual performances. A special mention to Tristan Payle who scored a brilliant 124 runs against Canberra Grammar School.

Rowing
The rowers have been very busy over the summer break, including two camps and several regattas.

All crews have been performing well but congratulations to the Under-17 and Under-18 quads for their efforts at the Cambridge Town Regatta where they both finished in 3rd place in the A final. The Under-15 1st and 2nd quads also did remarkably well to finish 1st and 5th in the A final from an initial field of 39 boats.
