The chosen players trained with the Auckland Senior 7s team leading up to the Tournament, which involved contact games, and skills and drills.
The Auckland School Boys' 7s played against Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Northland, and came away with three solid wins.
The final match was then against Northland and Auckland came up strong.
Awanuiarangi started each game and played well, setting up several tries and rock defence.
