Seen as "showing some potential" as a 7s player from playing in the King's College First XV team this year, Awanuiarangi has been chosen, along with 18 other players, for the Squad.
A Tournament will be held on Saturday, 7 November at Blake Park in the Mount.
Training dates for the Tournament build-up are Friday, 30 October, and Monday, 2, Wednesday, 4 and Friday, 6 November.
From this, 14 players from the 19 will then be selected for the Tournament.
The Tournament was organised by the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union and the Auckland Rugby Union has got on board, believing it will be an ideal opportunity to get some of our players involved.
