We have been working patiently to build solid foundations for the Maadi Campaign in April 2016, and it was very pleasing to see evidence of this preparation in our first ‘head-to-head’ racing opportunity for the season at the WTMC-TAKA Regatta.
In the 30 races entered, our rowers attained:
- 15 first places
- 5 second places
- 5 third places
As a result, our rowers were awarded the Takapuna Cup for Champion Boys' School.
Wins were achieved in the following events:
- Men’s U16 2X – Div 1, 2 and 3
- Men’s U15 4X – Div 1 and 2
- Men’s U17 1x – Div 2
- Men’s U16 4x – Div 1
- Men’s U17 4x – Div 1
- Men’s U18 2x – Div 1
- Men’s Novice 4x – Div 1
- Men’s U18 1x – Div 1
- Men’s U17 2X – Div 2, 3 and 4
All in all, a very encouraging set of results.
