The King's rowing squad competed at the Cambridge Town Cup from Friday, 29 to Sunday, 31 January.

Following a gruelling two weeks of camp and regattas and feeling the pinch, the King's College rowing squad demonstrated great form during a weekend of racing on Lake Karapiro.

Thirteen crews made an 'A Final' (up from six the previous year) and seven crews made a 'B Final'.

In the races entered, we won two Gold, two Silver and one Bronze and were on track for a third gold in the Men’s Club Single, but Oliver Maclean, who was the fastest qualifier, unfortunately had to pull out of the final with a rib injury.

The results are as follows:

A Finals

Under-17 Eight – 6th (Sam Cummins, Daniel Williamson, James Hall, Sam Lowe, Sam Ludbrook, Lachlan Cook, Lachie Dixon, Harrison Elliott, Max Brady)
