Well done to Old Collegian Ryan Fox who placed a creditable seventh at the recent Australian Open in Sydney.

Recording one of the most satisfying finishes of the year, Ryan outscored both No 1. Rory McIlroy and Australian star Adam Scott, and was one of only eight players to finish in red numbers.

The 27-year-old Aucklander reflects on this achievement as one of the most significant results since turning pro at the end of 2011.

Ryan attended King's College in 2003 and 2004 and was a member of both the First XI cricket team and the First XV rugby team.
