After a good first round robin where the team came 5th in the Gold fleet, they went on to place 10th in the second round robin to then have to sail in the repecharge. Fortunately, they won this to stay in the Gold fleet.
In the third round, they won four races which then placed them 7th. In their last race they bet eventual winners, Kerikeri High School.
The team placed one position higher than in 2015, but are keen to improve further next year.
